natural talent, the ability to see or perceive multi-dimensionally all at
once, from any one place at a time. In the truest sense of the word,
dyslexia is a perceptual talent. It is truly a wonderful 
gift
when really understood
Why is dyslexia a gift?
Dyslexic people are visual, multi-dimensional thinkers. They are intuitive
and highly creative and excel at hands-on learning. Because they think in
pictures, it is sometimes hard for them to understand letters, numbers,
symbols and written words.
Dyslexics can utilize the brain's ability to alter and create perceptions. They are highly aware of the environment. They have the gift of curiosity about how things work. They have

strong visualization; they think mainly in pictures. They are often highly inventive, quick-thinking, creative, imaginative, innovative, intuitive and insightful. They think and perceive multi-dimensionally, using all senses. They can experience thought as reality. They have vivid imaginations. Dyslexia is something special that enhances the individual. Many people have achieved fame because of it, not in spite of it. It is good for the self-esteem of all dyslexics to know their minds work in exactly the same way as the minds of great geniuses. They can learn to read, write and study efficiently when they use methods geared to our unique learning style. Many dyslexics excel in life.
